LOLA TO YOU 

This event brings together women wishing to face a personal challenge created just for them. Whether you are sedentary, active or athletic, this is an achievable goal for virtually every woman, no matter what your physical condition and personal objectives.

Fundraising: In parallel with the event a fundraising activity is organized.  The goal is to encourage and pay tribute to the education and physical activity of girls. Through a silent auction during the event, on a voluntary basis or through sales of derivative products, everyone can contribute to the LOLA Fund. The money raised will be given to the Foundation called ‘LOLA’ and redistributed as student bursaries to young women involved in a sport and whose commitment deserves support.

The fundraising objective in 2011 is $8000.  In 2010, the event collected $7400, and 10 bursaries were awarded to young women in sports, struggling to achieve their goals!

Mission and Objectives

• Encourage physical activity among women;
• Bring together as many women as possible in the different categories and disciplines of the event;
• Make this an annual event that will reunite women every year and eventually be held in other regions of Quebec and Canada;
• Allow women who would not have contemplated such an achievement to live this new experience.
• Provide a recreational and competitive event in a healthy and friendly environment
